Elizabeth (Elise) Allison, CIH®


Elizabeth “Elise” Allison brings more than 30 years of experience as a safety and health professional. She is a Certified Industrial Hygienist® (CIH®) and holds degrees in both Industrial Hygiene and Safety Management. Over the course of her career, Elise has provided expertise across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, demolition, laboratory operations, and the nuclear sector.

Her professional focus has been on identifying workplace hazards, developing practical and sustainable solutions, and guiding organizations toward regulatory compliance while maintaining a strong emphasis on worker protection. Elise’s extensive background and commitment to advancing occupational health and safety make her an invaluable resource for IES Safety and the clients we serve.

Ryan Cirillo, CIH®, CSP®


Ryan Cirillo is a Certified Industrial Hygienist ( CIH®) and Certified Safety Professional ( CSP®) with extensive experience in evaluating and controlling workplace exposures to chemical and physical hazards. With a Masters of Science in Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences from the School of Public Health at the City University of New York, he has conducted comprehensive exposure monitoring and risk assessments for a wide range of agents, including formaldehyde, welding fumes, metal dusts, and other airborne particulates.

Over the course of his career, Ryan has led industrial hygiene programs across a variety of work environments, applying technical expertise to design monitoring strategies, interpret exposure data, and develop effective control measures that protect worker health and ensure regulatory compliance. He has also managed assessments of numerous other chemical and physical agents, providing practical solutions for complex occupational health challenges.

Known for a meticulous approach and commitment to worker safety, Ryan combines technical expertise with practical application to help organizations create healthier, safer workplaces.

Dr. James Jackson, CIH®


Dr. James Jackson, CIH® holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Science and a Master of Science (MS) in Health Services Administration from California State University, San Bernardino, and a Doctorate (Ed. D.) in Education with a Health Emphasis from the University of La Verne. Dr. Jackson is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH®) with the American Board of Industrial Hygiene and a Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC).

Dr. Jackson has over 20 years of experience working as an Industrial Hygienist in local government in indoor air quality, noise monitoring, mold remediation, lead hazard assessments, illumination studies, water sampling, confined space training, infectious disease training, and other projects as needed.

Additionally, Dr. Jackson has over 20 years of experience as an associate faculty member with California State University at San Bernardino, Riverside, and the Mt. San Jacinto Community College District, instructing in occupational health and health science, as well as 10 years of experience as an environmental laboratory analyst.

Wendy Pontefract, CIH®, CSP®


Wendy Pontefract, CIH®, CSP®, earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene from Montana Technological University. Over the past 30 years, Wendy has performed health and safety work in a variety of industries including commercial and industrial construction, nuclear and fossil power generation, manufacturing, and refining. Wendy has also conducted industrial hygiene assessments in over 15 countries to include most of the Americas, Russia, Tanzania, Latvia, and the Ukraine among others.
